Indonesia’s phone code is the telephone country code that is used for phone communications when a call is placed from outside of the country.

Indonesia’s country code is +62. The country code is necessary only when dialing a phone number to make a telephone call from another country. International callers who wish to dial a telephone number in Indonesia should dial Indonesia’s telephone country code (+62) before the national telephone number preceded by area code.

Step 1. Enter your country’s exit code on your phone. If you are calling from Europe please enter the 00 (or “+” sign if calling from a mobile device) or 011 if calling from the United States. American callers use the “011” exit code for all international call, including Indonesia.

Indonesia’s mobile phone numbers are operated by the two largest local mobile phone companies -Telkomsel and Indosat.

The mobile phone codes in Indonesia are three digit long, first digit is 8 (811, 812, 813, 852 etc.). When dialing a mobile phone number from outside of the country, first you need to dial the exit code (for example, “011” or “+” sign if calling from the United States), then Indonesia’s country code “62”, plus the 9 to 11 digit phone number including mobile code.
