Mexico’s phone code is the telephone country code that is used for phone communications when a call is placed from outside of the country.

Mexico’s country code is +52. The country code is necessary only when dialing a phone number to make a telephone call from another country. International callers who wish to dial a telephone number in Mexico should dial Mexico’s telephone country code (+52) before the ten digit national telephone number with two or three digit area code.

All national phone numbers in Mexico are ten digits long – aa-bbbb-bbbb or aaa-bbb-bbbb: the area code (two or three digits), followed by the 7 or 8 digit local number.

Mexico’s area codes are two or three digit long codes that are used for long-distance calling inside the country. A few areas (like Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey) have 2 digit area code followed by a 8 digit local phone number. Step 1. Enter 011 (or “+” sign), American exit code.

Step 3. Then enter 1, Mexican mobile code.

Step 5. Right after the area code, enter the 7 or 8 digit mobile phone number you wish to call in Mexico.
